Corporate Rights versus Your Rights.
The 2010 election revealed the power of corporations in the political process. The attacks on basic rights to organize and collective bargain have begun. We need to look only at Wisconsin at how the attacks will proceed. Blame the Unions ,Blame the employees, Blame everyone else.
We see the hostility in response from Representatives Bilbray ,Issa and Hunter to letters asking them to respect Federal employees and to oppose attacks on the employees and the right to collectively bargain.
H.R. 1 directly places the rights of corporations in front of yours. Millions of tax dollars will remain uncollected from those unwilling to pay or in some cases outright cheat .
Now is the time to take action. Do not go quietly into the night. Tell your family and friends the real story. Call, write and visit your member of Congress and tell them what will happen.

Here is the original letter to the San Diego Union
It seems
that the first order of business of the House of
Representatives is to attack the Federal Workforce. Forget the fact that
there are more contractors doing work for the United States, or that in
real terms wages lag behind similar jobs in the private sector by 24%.
The first order is to cut the essential services provided by the Federal
Government. The current House Leadership has lost touch with the people
on Main Street in favor of those on Wall Street.
One proposal would slash the budget at the IRS by 1.2 billion dollars
for the reminder of this fiscal year. Didn't get your refund? just call
and be placed on hold for 5 or six hours. Tax cheats can rejoice as there
would not be the Revenue Agents to investigate the scams.
Instead of attacking Federal employees, look to them for ideas that can
save millions of dollars instead of giving corporations billions.
Sincerely,
Malcolm Gettmann
